Salt chlorinators

​​Standard chlorinators sanitise a pool.  Sanitiser destroys bacteria and algae.   

• Too much sanitiser is corrosive. This can damage the pool shell and equipment.

 

• Sanitisers change the pH. Water needs to be re-balanced to make it safe for swimmers.

 
Only some chlorinators can:

• Regulate the amount of sanitiser
• Adjust the water balance.
